Description

The MPR121QR2 Breakout Board is a convenient interface for Freescale's MPR121QR2 capacitive touch sensor controller. It communicates over I2C and can manage up to twelve individual electrodes. Here are the main features and specifications:

Simulated thirteenth electrode

Eight LED driving pins (can be configured as electrodes or used for driving LEDs)

Address jumper for setting I2C address (default: 0x5A)

Jumpers for SDA, SCL, and interrupt pin with 10K pull-up resistors

Operating voltage: 2.5V to 3.6VDC

VREG pin at 2.5V with a 0.1uF capacitor to ground

Note:

 

The board doesn't have its own voltage regulation, so the supplied voltage should be between 2.5 to 3.6VDC. The VREG pin is set at 2.5V.
