Description

PC817 2-Channel Opto-Isolator Breakout Module

The PC817 2-Channel Opto-Isolator Breakout module is designed for voltage level conversion and electrical isolation in electronic circuits. Here are its key features and specifications:

Description:

  • Enables the use of a low-level signal to control a higher-level voltage.
  • Employs PC817 optoisolator for optical isolation.

Channels:

  • Two independent channels for separate input-output pairs.

Voltage Range:

  • Input: 3.6V to 24V
  • Output: 3.6V to 30V

Jumper Switch:

  • Allows toggling the output between high and low states.

Applications:

  • Ideal for electrical isolation in noisy environments to prevent interference or damage.

Usage:

  • Controls higher-voltage components with low-power devices like microcontrollers.

Compatibility:

  • Suitable for Arduino and other microcontroller platforms.

Independent Channels:

  • Operate independently for different voltage levels simultaneously.

This module is valuable for isolating low and high voltage circuits, commonly used in environments prone to electrical noise.

Exactly as Expected!!!.

1 of the units had a slightly twisted input screw terminal but straightened up by hand. Definitely Not an issue!
