The VL53L0X Time-of-Flight Ranging Sensor Module by STMicroelectronics is a compact and powerful solution for precise distance measurements. Utilizing advanced FlightSense™ technology, this sensor emits infrared laser pulses and measures the time it takes for the reflections to return, functioning similarly to lidar systems. This allows for accurate distance measurements up to 2 meters with a high resolution of 1 mm.
