Have you ever found the perfect I2C sensor, only to realize that its fixed I2C address prevents you from using multiple instances of it on the same bus? Don't worry; the CJMCU-9548 1-to-8 I2C multiplexer is here to save the day!

This multiplexer allows you to connect up to 8 I2C devices with the same address to a single microcontroller. Acting as a gatekeeper, it routes the commands to the selected I2C pins with your command, making it an invaluable tool for expanding your I2C bus.

How it Works: Using the CJMCU-9548 is straightforward. The multiplexer itself has a default I2C address of 0x70, but it can be adjusted to any address between 0x70 and 0x77. You simply write a single byte with the desired multiplexed output number to this address, and all future I2C packets will be routed to the selected port. In theory, you can use up to 8 multiplexers, each set to a different address (0x70-0x77), allowing you to control up to 64 devices with the same I2C address.
