מודול הממיר USB ל-RS232 מבוסס על שבב PL2303TA של חברת Taiwan Prolific מאפשר חיבור מכשירים סדרתיים RS232 ליציאת USB, תומך במערכות הפעלה שונות כמו Windows XP/VISTA/7/8/8.1. הוא מחקה פורטים COM לשילוב USB חלק ללא שינוי תוכנה קיימת.
